SEVEN was born out of a deep need for change in the worlds of STEM, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.

OUR STORY

Women make up just 34% of the STEM workforce, and in key areas like computer science and engineering, the gender gap is even wider.

In entrepreneurship, women-owned businesses account for less than 20% of all businesses with employees. Venture capital paints an even starker picture—women hold only 11% of partner positions, and all-female founding teams receive a mere 2.4% of VC funding over a 30-year average.

These challenges are not just numbers—they represent lost opportunities for innovation, diversity of thought, and economic advancement.

SEVEN was created to tackle these systemic barriers head-on. We are a dynamic platform designed to connect, empower, and uplift women in STEM, entrepreneurship, and venture capital. By offering resources, mentorship, and strategic connections, we aim to unlock opportunities that enable women to thrive and lead in their fields.

“SEVEN, which stands for Science, Engineering, and Venture Empowerment Network, is about more than just creating a space for networking—it’s about building a community of strong, diverse voices dedicated to reshaping industries”
